Trauma disorders such as posttraumatic stress disorder are common, and sufferers are typically burdened with involuntary recurrent memories (flashbacks). Although there are well-researched therapies, only a small proportion of patients can be treated with it because there are not enough places who offer these treatments. In this talk, new therapies are presented that relieve symptoms such as flashbacks and which are less time-consuming, labor-intensive and cost-intensive, allowing more people to access treatment.
