- Digital platform and network for female neuroscientists, created by SFB 874 and funded by Ruhr-Universität Bochum
- Promotes the career development of women in neuroscience
- Raises their visibility and draws attention to their research
- Registered users can search the database for female experts on specific neuroscientific topics, e.g. to find a candidate for a research position, a speaker for a conference, a member for a scientific board …
RECONCILING SCIENCE AND FAMILY LIFE
- Equipment for remote working for young parents
- Employment of student assistants to support researchers on maternity leave and during their first years of parenthood in their experimental work
- Providing advice on the reconciliation of science and family, e.g. on business and research travel with children
- Childcare during off-hours or in the context of meetings, conferences and workshops
- Mobile nursery station for short-term childcare at work
- Several nursing and baby changing rooms on campus
